Katherine Westbrook is a printmaker and artist currently based in the Bay Area in California, originally from Western Michigan. She received her Bachelors of Fine Art in Printmaking from Kendall College of Art & Design of Ferris State University before studying Collaborative Lithography at the world renowned Tamarind Institute of Fine Art Lithography in Albuquerque, New Mexico. As a Tamarind Trained Printer, she has collaborated and published lithographic editions with numerous internationally recognized artists.

Her current studio work of Eastcreek Press engages technical understanding of chemistry and California’s biodiversity of plants and fungi to produce fine art lithographic prints that drive innovation within traditional stone lithography and open up the space to fuel a more sustainable future for both the printer and the environment.
